Rocket Raccoon is a genetically engineered raccoon who is the weapons specialist of the Guardians of the Galaxy. In the movie, he is voiced by Bradley Cooper.

Personality[]
Rocket is a genetically engineered raccoon. As such, he hates to be compared to what he was, because it's demeaning and reminds him of his suffering. He hates when Drax called him a "monster," and being called “raccoon" as well, because as he sees it, he isn't a raccoon anymore. He also has a good sense of wit and likes to joke around with people, like Star-Lord. However, many of his jokes come off as mean. He's grouchy most of the time. He's also the Guardians' second-in-command, and hates being powerless. When cornered, he has been known to fight with his wits rather than his fists, turning his enemies against each other. His tendency to revert to submission and a polite demeanor with back-handed compliments and confusing others may be left over from his time as an experiment on Half-World.
Relationships[]
He shares a special bond with Groot, as the two of them are partners in bounty hunting. He is seen to be the only one understanding him. He was also seen angered at Ronan when Groot died, due to sacrificing himself.
